Jewel-Toned Lids

Best New Artist nominee Keri Hilson rocked a stunning amethyst smoky eye. To get her look, use a cream shadow like CoverGirl Smoky ShadowBlast in Purple Plume as a base, then apply a shimmery lavender powder shadow to create a richer intensity. Next, use a small brush to dab gold pigment in the inner corners. Rim your lids with a stripe of black liner, then apply false lashes. Finish the look with several coats of CoverGirl LashBlast Volume Blasting Mascara to blend the fake lashes with your real ones.

Old Hollywood Glamour

Taylor Swift channeled a 1950s starlet on the red carpet. The trick to pulling off her look is to keep the focus on the eyes and lips. Blend a soft black or charcoal gray shadow over your lids, then apply a thick stripe of liquid liner on the upper lash lines. Accentuate your fringe with several coats of mascara, concentrating on the outer lashes. Finish the look with a soft red lip color.

Glowing Skin

With skin as flawless as Ciara's (does she even have pores?!) it makes sense to keep it simple with the makeup. To score her radiant glow, swipe a gold-flecked bronzer all over, including your lids. Try CoverGirl Queen Collection Natural Hue Bronzer. Add a pop of peachy-pink blush on the apples of the cheeks, then swipe on a creamy nude lipstick.

Ice Princess Eyes

We're guessing that Rihanna's frosted eye effect was inspired by the ruffled white gown she sported on the red carpet. For a similar look, apply a silver cream shadow to your lids and underneath your lower lash lines. The key is to go for strong, defined brows and extra-long false lashes for contrast. Finish the look with a soft peach blush like CoverGirl and Olay Simply Ageless Sculpting Blush in Plush Peach and a nude lip color.

Bronzed Skin and Peach-Nude Lips

With her gleaming tanned skin and creamy nude lips, Fergie looks like she just returned from a fabulous island getaway. If you look closely, you'll notice that she's even got a hint of shimmer down the bridge of her nose. According to our expert, many stars use this trick to make their noses look smaller and more centered. To do it at home, dab your finger in gold powder like girlactick Metallic Shimmer Eye Powder in Gold Glam, then blend it down the center of your nose until it's barely visible.

Mega-Smoky Eyes

Maybe it's her recent engagement (and the giant rock she's wearing), but Carrie Underwood looked even more lovely than usual. The blond bombshell successfully pulled off a tricky beauty move: darker brow with light hair. If you want to try this look, the key is to go for a full face of makeup, which includes a major smoky eye with lots of lashes and liner. Hint: Use a mineral powder shadow like Mary Kay Mineral Eye Color in Coal, which is really easy to blend. Stick with a peachy blush and a shiny nude gloss.

Hot Pink Pout

We love a girl who isn't afraid to try something daring on the red carpet, so of course we flipped for Jennifer Hudson's bright pink lips and gold eye shadow. You might have to mix a few lip colors together to create the perfect hue. A good combo: CoverGirl Continuous Color Lipstick in Fabulous Fuchsia and Mary Kay NouriShine Lip Gloss in Sugarberry.
