I like the look of neutral shadows like beige and taupe, but I feel like they blend in with my complexion. Any tricks to getting them to show up against my skin?
To make these muddier shades 'pop' against your skin, be sure you're choosing a tone at least two shades darker than your natural skin tone. If you're fair, you can use a light grey-ish taupe; if you're more olive-y, choose a deeper brown taupe. See if the shadow can be applied damp, too, which always enhances the payoff and intensifies the color.
