“God forbid you need a paramedic, you'll want to be wearing nice, clean underwear and a matching bra," warns Stanger. Her rules: If you wear pink on top, wear it on the bottom. And avoid cartoon characters and polka dots, which won't make men want to jump you. She suggests investing in some nice underpinnings ("black lace is the mother of all lingerie inventions," she says). You should also buy a bra that really fits. According to Stanger, it should lift and separate your breasts. "Perky is where it’s at," she muses.
