“Citrus and clean smells work really well for men, but the number one scent they’re attracted to is pumpkin pie," she says. According to Stanger, Sena-creator Dr. Hirsch said that when men smelled unlabeled bottles, nine out of ten times they gravitated to pumpkin pie. "I don’t know what it is—it could be the cinnamon, vanilla, or nutmeg," she adds. "No one has invented a fragrance featuring [pumpkin pie] yet, but Thierry Mugler Angel does have vanilla-scented perfumes.”
