Her impressive background in science (she has a Ph.D. in organic chemistry) and many years of experience with the P&G family benefit Dr. Johnson‘s research work with top-notch dermatologists, clinicians and other P&G Beauty scientists to help come up with the latest in hair, skin and scalp care technologies and products.
Dr. Johnson comes by her beauty science role naturally. With parents who both worked in the field, not only was she surrounded by science her whole life, but she also grew up as a bona fide beauty junkie fascinated by everything to do with makeup and hair.
Even though beauty science is what Dr. Johnson enjoys the most, she’s not all lab coats and beakers! She loves getting out of the lab to teach others about groundbreaking beauty technology, the benefits of ingredients, and new products. Spreading the word means lecturing at professional gatherings, but she’s also been known to speak to grade-school students and conduct workshops for science teachers on the importance of science and the impact it has on our lives.
