How can I apply mascara on my lower lashes without getting it all over my face?

The best trick to applying mascara on lower lashes is to softly coat a thin, flat liner brush like Laura Mercier Flat Eye Liner Brush with mascara. Gently tap the lower lashes beginning at the root of the lash line with the brush starting at the inner corners and moving out. Avoid stroking the entire lash line if you have long lashes so you don't create spider lashes. This will enhance your lashes and give you more control than your mascara wand would.
