The Ultimate Smoky Eye Guide
If there were ever a time to finally master a smoky eye, it’s New Year's Eve. We looked to our favorite Hollywood starlets for inspiration and collected easy tips from celebrity hair and makeup artist, Julia Papworth. You're welcome!

Get her edgy look:
1. "Prep with a shadow primer and apply a gray silver eye shadow (recommended: Too Faced In a Flash) as a base. Dust the color from the lash line up to the brow bone, and from the inner corner of the eye out to the edges. Make sure to blend well up into the brow bone."
2. "Add a darker shade (recommended: Too Faced Nice Ash) on the outer corners of the eye and blend inwards. Use shimmery shadow on the inner corner of the eye to highlight (recommended: MAC White Frost Eye Shadow)."
3. "Finish with a couple coats of thickening mascara (recommended: Dior Show Black Out Mascara)."
