The Ultimate Smoky Eye Guide
If there were ever a time to finally master a smoky eye, it’s New Year's Eve. We looked to our favorite Hollywood starlets for inspiration and collected easy tips from celebrity hair and makeup artist, Julia Papworth. You're welcome!

Get her smoldering look:
1. "Sweep the lid with a matte brown shadow (recommended: NARS Bengali) and add some pop with a gold shade (recommended: MAC Gorgeous Gold) in the center of the lid."
2. "Blend the colors together with a feathery brush."
3. "Rim the eyes inside and out with a kohl pencil (recommended: MAC Eye Kohl Pencil in Smolder) and use a brush to blend the liner out from the lash line."
