We sat down with BOOM! Cosmetics founder, Cindy Joseph, to get her must-know makeup tips for getting ready for a date.
Cindy says, "For more date-appropriate makeup, keep it real - you want to look approachable. After all, your date wants to meet you, not a disguised face. You should look fresh, radiant, and possibly even kissable?"
Tip #1
Start with a good moisturizer it keeps your skin looking healthy and dewy - which makes it touchable and natural. Since this is the first thing you put on your skin, make sure it is pure, organic, and has no toxic chemicals. Always read the ingredients list of everything you put on your skin what goes on goes in.
Tip #2
Soak your makeup sponge with moisturizer or water to thin out your favorite foundation or concealer, so it doesnt looked caked on after you apply it.
Tip #3
If you want your skin to look natural, eliminate powder. It makes your skin too matte which is not how healthy skin should look.
Tip #4
Plum eye shadows create a warm and inviting eye. Be sure to use lighter shades on your eyelids and brow bone to enhance the natural shape of your bone structure.
Tip #5
Always use a rosy pink color for your cheeks the color makes the skin look revved-up with circulation and gives a very natural blush.
