Always be prepared.

"Planning ahead in my busy lifestyle is a priority. For me, this doesn't just mean making sure to fit breakfast, lunch, and dinner in. I always make sure to have some healthy snacks on hand too in case I go longer than expected to my next meal. Nuts, berries, and dried plums are great things to have in your bag at all times. I also always travel with herbal teas."

Never fully deprive yourself.

"I listen to my body and how it reacts to certain foods. For example, at a lot of fast-food chains, I know I am always going to get sick after eating there. There are times, though, when you're stuck, and in those cases just be mindful of what you are ordering. A lot of restaurants hide salt and sugar in their foods, so keep that in mind when you make those choices."

Stretch.

"I do a lot of stretching. My friends and teammates know that I stretch all the time. When I was on Dancing with the Stars, the whole cast made fun of me and [dancing partner] Alec Mazo because we stretched all the time! Not only does it relax you, stretching prevents injuries and releases tension among tons of other benefits. I even stretch before bed."

SPF!

"Being a swimmer, sunscreen is a must. I've been swimming for 20 years, and I don't want to be a leather face when I get older! I like KINeSYS Spray Sunscreen — it's super- lightweight but also waterproof and sweat-proof. I go to Australia a lot, which is one of the worst places in the world for sun damage, and I've never gotten burnt there while using it, so I know it works!"
