From DVF to Marni, the fall 2011 runways were filled with busy and bright graphic prints. If you’re on the fence about donning one of these “look at me” styles, read up on these tips for rocking bold fabric, no matter your shape.

If You're Busty...
When it comes to prints, remember this rule of thumb: Small, intricate prints are better for making you look tinier, while larger patterns usually make you look, well, larger. An architectural jacket (like this one from Dries van Noten with sculpted shoulders and a flared waist) is great for defining the upper-body proportions of women with larger chests. If possible, always opt for a zipper closure over buttons, so you can tailor the opening of your coat to your liking.
