Breast Cancer Survivor Makeovers
In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Real Beauty teamed up with New York City's Blow Salon to give six brave women a day of pampering.

Every three minutes someone is diagnosed with breast cancer, and in the United States, 250,000 of them are under the age of 41. We spent the day with six of these women at the Blow Salon, listening to their experiences, while they enjoyed getting their hair and makeup done.
Whether working for, or members of, all these women are involved in Breast Cancer Awareness groups like the Avon Foundation for Women to the Young Survival Coalition. Each of their stories are humbling and inspiring, and their new looks are gorgeous.
