I was diagnosed on...
"June 16, 2010."
My immediate reaction was...
"Anger. I didn't want to lose a year of my life to getting treated. I didnt want to be scared of cancer in the back of my mind for the rest of the my life. Also, Im an avid golfer, and I knew my diagnosis would ruin my summer. "
Now, breast cancer means to me...
"A wake-up call. The prognosis is better than it was in the past, so, with the right treatment, I am hopeful I will be fine. However, it has also been a real kick in the butt to get out there and do something significant with my life."
I'd tell someone recently diagnosed with breast cancer that...
"Treatment has come a long, long way. And, a positive attitude is very important."
I'm pretty fantastic at...
"Listening to people."
I get stressed out by...
"People who don't take charge of their life."
I unwind by...
"Working out, playing golf, and watching TV."
Breast cancer is...
"A pain in the ass."
