The process is juice. All juice, all the time. You drink the following juices in order: Super Green juice, Red juice, Almond Milk, Master Cleanse lemonade, Red juice, and lastly the super green juice. The instructions were very clear. The most difficult was drinking the super green juice first thing in the morning. My stomach didn't love this for breakfast.
I usually workout about 3-4 times per week, however I chose not to workout during the cleanse. Since I am definitely addicted to food, I thought I would make it easier on myself and my body by simply focusing on the cleanse and its potential benefits. I essentially decided NOT to double-down on the suffering.
My mail room was slow to deliver the juices, so I didn't get to start until 12:50 p.m. I started with the super green juice, which ended up being my least favorite. I had to drink it slowly, because it is a very intense beverage. My stomach did not love it, so I ate a banana prior to help. I will have to make up some time since I started late. Will sip away until bedtime. Looking forward to the almond milk!
3 p.m.: Only drank half of the Super Green juice and half of the red juice. I'm happy drinking the almond milk.
"Dinnertime": I definitely feel "movement" and I'm nervous about going to my rehearsal! The herbal laxatives I had to take earlier have clearly kicked in. I finish my lemonade before I head out.
10 p.m.: Surprisingly, I'm not hungry even though I could not finish all of the juice. Looking forward to feeling good in the morning.
8 a.m.: Did NOT feel good this morning. Felt tired and sluggish. Need juice!
Noon: I love the almond milk. It's a nice alternative to so much juice. I'll be looking forward to it tomorrow as well.
3 p.m.: The lemonade tastes really good too, even though the cayenne pepper makes it taste a bit different. I don't mind it though because the lemon alone feels like a "cleanser." I'm really loving this juice.
6 p.m.: I can't finish the red juice (even though I know it's good for me) and never reach the green juice. I'm truly not that hungry. I'm shocked!
8 p.m.: Feeling clean.
8 a.m.: I am truly stunned when I look in the mirror this morning. My skin has NEVER looked this amazing. I look like I'm lit from within. I finally see what's happening here. I've been infusing myself with natural sources of vitamins and this is what happens: You actually look healthy in January! It's miraculous.
Noon: The only thing that matters today is the almond milk.
3 p.m.: Okay, I'm feeling hungry.
7 p.m.: I'm not interested in any more juice. I'm going to wait it out for the morning and my egg sandwich.
I would rate this cleanse a 3 on a scale of 5. My energy level was not good the first and second days, but by the third day it was fantastic. I never got a headache, but my stomach didn't feel great. I have a sensitive stomach, but I think the almond milk was helpful for that. By the end, I lose three pounds.
