Celebrity Trainer, Tracey Anderson's Foods to Slim By:

FOUR TO SIX WEEKS

• No processed food.

• No dairy (it takes the body longer to digest).

• Start every morning with fruits (she recommends watermelon, blueberries, and strawberries for their high water content).

• Load up on lean proteins (turkey and chicken breast; white fish, like tilapia) and leafy greens (kale, Swiss chard, and spinach) throughout the day.

• Stay away from saturated oils and dressings. For guilt-free flavor, try lemon juice with a pinch of salt and pepper.

• Limit carbs to one cup of brown rice or quinoa daily.

• If you must satisfy a sweet tooth, try cacao or dark chocolate.

• Drink only water and green tea.

 

ONE WEEK

• Follow rules for "four to six weeks"; reduce carbs to a half cup a day.

• Avoid salty foods that lead to water retention.

 

TWO TO THREE DAYS

• Follow all rules above, but cut out all carbs.

• Drink lots of water.

• Try just watermelon for breakfast (it fills you up and keeps you hydrated).
