Tester: Yvette, 34

Cleanse: BlueprintCleanse Renovation Cleanse

The cleanse comes with 6 juices per day, which were the same each day. The easiest part of the cleanse was drinking the 6th juice (Cashew Nut Milk). It was delicious and made me feel stuffed, which is good because I am a night snacker. The hardest part was getting the green juice down. It took me forever to drink those. I didn't like the smell or taste. If it was sweeter, maybe it would have been better. I wasn't really hungry throughout the three days unless you count being mentally hungry. (Like, my mind kept telling me I should have been eating.)

As far as fitness goes, I go to the gym at least three times a week with intense cardio and weight lifting. During my cleanse I only went to the gym one day, not because I didn't have energy, but because my schedule only allotted for one day. I got pretty nauseous at the gym, but I am not sure it was because of the cleanse or because the green juice was repeating on me. I didn't feel any physically weaker, but I did get light headed.

Daily Diary

Morning: I went to sleep with a headache and woke up with one. (Can't have my morning coffee!) The first juice of the day (green) is really hard to get down! It's taken me about two hours to drink it, and in the end I had to chug it. I tried a bit of the cashew nut milk (it's allowed!) to help mask the green juice's taste.

Noon: Still have my headache, but not as bad. Now drinking the second juice (pineapple apple mint) and it isn't bad.

3 p.m.: Ugh. Drinking green juice again.

"Dinner": Headache is gone! I am not really hungry, but my body is telling me to eat.

Before bed: I'm still not hungry, but I am glad I saved this tasty cashew nut milk to ward off any further cravings. It's really good, which surprises me because I usually hate cashews!

Day 2: Thursday

Morning: I am dreading the green juice. I started drinking it after 9 a.m., which is probably bad because my body needs sustenance early on.

Noon: Feeling good! I drank juice #2, and now I'm going to Boot Camp class!

3 p.m.: After hurling during Boot Camp, I get back to my desk and drink another juice. But I feel good; not weak. But I do have this weird bout of mucus.

"Dinner: Still feeling good, but I will admit, I cheated! I had some cucumber slices and salt. But cheat sheet said cucumbers were okay!

Before bed: I am really tired, probably from hitting the gym earlier. But life is good—I'm drinking the cashew nut milk and watching the Jersey Shore.

Morning: I am still expelling mucus—today is going to be eventful. I'm following my son on his class trip.

Noon: After gulping my green juice around 9 a.m., I am finally having juice number 2. The smell of the kids' french fries during lunch is intoxicating. Darn it!

3 p.m.: Home from my son's school trip and gulping down this last green juice! Woohoo! I am almost there!

"Dinner": I am getting kind of hungry and panicking because I finished my spicy lemonade (my favorite juice by far) and the fifth juice (beet juice) already. Yikes!

Before bed: Okay this is it! My last Cashew Nut Milk! I am kind of excited and looking forward to food tomorrow.

What I learned: At the end of my cleanse, I lost 7.4 pounds. I think a lot of this was where my thunder thighs were—my pants definitely feel looser! Overall, the cleanse was easy to follow, and I enjoyed it. I'd give it a four out of five stars. Moving forward, I plan on cooking healthier. While doing this cleanse, I researched recipes with healthier ingredients and am even considering making my own green juice, but one that tastes better!
