OVERVIEW
The easiest part was of this diet was that there was actually a variety of food to eat. However, baby food is disgustingit's super sweet. Everything jar tastes like there's a cup of molasses mixed in. What's odd is that I chose an organic baby food, Earth's Best, from Whole Foods, which doesn't have preservatives or added sugar, so I'm not sure where the sweet taste came from. Like my cleanse counterpart, I broke out in an rash all over my face and torso about 36 hours into the diet.
I consumed enough jars of food that equated to 800-900 calories per day (which wasn't too far off from my 1300 calorie/day diet I usually stick to). I run 2 days a week and then do weight training 2 days a week and had no problem with my energy level during this cleanse. I also didn't experience any stomach issues, but I really couldn't stand the taste or consistencyI thought I was going to throw up a few times. During my short lived experience, I craved something crunchy to eat. But with that said, I wasn't exactly starving or hungry since I ate three jars for each "meal". If I hadn't broken out into the scary rash that I had to get a steroid cream from my derm for, I would have stuck with the diet longer. It was totally doable, not too expensive, and easy to follow.
