Kate Hanley is a writer who specializes in exploring the mind-body connection. As Ms. Mindbody, she has a fast-growing platform and an extensive list of publicity contacts that includes Hearst, Rodale, Meredith, and iVillage/NBC. She has been published in Health, Yoga Life, Yoga Journal, SELF, Playboy, Delta Sky, Time Out New York, Prevention.com, and others; is a frequent guest on Martha Stewart's Sirius Radio Channel; a contributor to Body & Soul magazine, LHJ.com, and GoodHousekeeping.com (for which she has contracted to supply a weekly stress relief and daily stretch for an entire calendar year); and the coach of the annual iVillage.com Mind-Body Community challenge, in which she teaches 30,000+ women how to bring more balance to their lives.

Although a registered yoga teacher, Kate is not a yoga goddess or guru she can't levitate, control her heart rate with her mind, or do a handstand in the middle of the room. (Yet.) Kate lives in Brooklyn, New York.
