HAIR: If more money is what you're asking for, the easiest way to approach your boss is to be yourself. "Your fellow employees and supervisor see you every day, so don't do anything differently when it comes to your hair than you normally would," says Labrecque. "If you wear your hair curly, keep it curly that day. You don't want to come off as trying too hard."
MAKEUP: As with your hair, a meeting with you boss is not the time to test out that new lipstick you bought this weekend. Dean suggests keeping it natural with subtle shades and simple eyes and lips. A swipe of gloss and a few coats of mascara will keep you looking professional.
