These simple 'dos were a staple at BCBG and Diane von Furstenberg's Fall 2011 shows. Simply secured with an elastic at the nape of the neck, this look is chic enough for the office and easy enough for a date—cube to cocktails in one simple step.

We expected to see this hairstyle paired with layers of tulle at an Oscar de la Renta show. We were pleased to instead see that this ballerina bun was shown with sexy sheaths and pink lips for a more sophisticated look.

Channeling Snooki and Amy Winehouse, the "freakin'" poof made a runway debut at the Peter Som show. We loved that this hairstyle was paired with minimal makeup and sans hoop earrings.

Popular with brides, the traditional chignon is usually reserved for more formal occasions. So, we love that this hairstyle was paired with soft makeup and refined separates on the runway. The look, shown here, is created by pulling the hair back into a ponytail, twisting the hair into itself, and finally securing with Bobbi pins.
