In Your Teens: Hydrate
It is well-known that puberty can have serious effects on your skin, but the constantly fluctuating hormone levels can change the look and feel of your hair as wellmainly drying it out. This is also the time when girls begin styling their hair, resulting in the first signs of split ends and dull strands. Try a conditioning mask to combat the early effects of styling and keep the hair super hydrated.
"In addition to a deep hydrating mask, water is the cheapest and easiest way to keep your hair hydrated," says Josue Perez. He suggests drinking tons of water (i.e. 8-10 oz) a day.
