The first gray hair sounds the alarm, and it certainly won't be the last one you see! In fact, it all begins little by little around your hairline. Gray hair Accept it or conceal it? The loss of pigmentation in hair, which usually begins around age 30, can be embraced (many great stylists love it!) or rejected. The good news is: there are solutions for everyone cells, the melanocytes. This is an enzyme strike on your scalp, so to speak. CARING FOR GRAY HAIR: Gray hair is gorgeous, pure refinement as long as you prevent it from yellowing. Use iridescent shampoos and products that effectively prevent yellowing to preserve the subtle balance between salt and pepper.
HIDING GRAY HAIR: Tone-on-tone coloring will add subtleties to your color and cover grays so they fade into the rest of your hair. Oxidation coloring is the best solution once you have more than 50 percent gray hair. Be sure to choose a color one or two shades lighter than your natural one.
DON'T PLUCK: If you pull a gray hair, it will grow back gray, and runs the risk of disrupting the hair cycle and losing that strand of hair for good.
