Emmys 2010: The Best and Worst Beauty Looks

It wasn't just her Oscar de la Renta masterpiece that turned heads on the red carpet. The Glee star's wispy, eyebrow-skimming bangs were also a huge hit.

Her character on True Blood might be having a tough time these days, but on the red carpet Rutina Wesley looked absolutely radiant with a red-orange lip color and coral cheeks.

We're used to seeing Kim Kardashian with long, cascading waves, so we were psyched that she switched it up for the Emmys with a Grecian-inspired updo that showed off her gorgeous Marchesa gown.

Okay, so maybe she has an unfair advantage being that Claire Danes is the new Latisse spokesperson, but her lashes are undeniably long and lush. Plus, we love her sparkly copper shadow and pretty pink cheeks.

We love how Tina Fey pulled off a ponytail that was worthy of an Oscar de la Renta gown and Lorraine Schwartz jewels.

January Jones is all about daring hair and makeup looks, and we love her for it. This year was no exception with her tousled bob and frosty eye shadow. We still can't decide if we love it or hate it.

We were excited when we heard that this reality TV cutie was getting a Mad Men-inspired makeover, but this teased updo is a little too retro for our liking. What does work: Her bubblegum-pink lips and black liquid liner.

It's not that anything was truly terrible with Kate Gosselin's hair and makeup, but next to all the real stars, she just looked kind of "meh." Besides, isn't her 15 minutes up yet?

Yes, Kelly Osbourne's new blonde hair color is a huge improvement over the grayish lavender shade she was sporting, but we're not crazy about the way it washes out her porcelain complexion. However, we will give her points for her polished makeup.
