15 Best Dresses at the Emmys
Celebs know its not whether you win or lose, but what you wear that matters at award shows. The leading ladies of the small screen stepped out in style for TVs biggest night. From sexy red gowns to one-shoulder dresses, we spotted the biggest trends on the carpet.

Blake Lively
Once again, this Gossip Girl proved why she's our girl crush. She sizzled in a red Versace gown with a very sexy plunging neckline.
Drew Barrymore
She didn't win an Emmy for her role in Grey Gardens, but Drew looked like Hollywood royalty in an elegant strapless Monique Lhuillier dress. We bet her date (and sometimes boyfriend) Justin Long didn't have any complaints.
Christina Hendricks
Host Neil Patrick Harris joked that the Mad Men actress could "turn a gay man straight." We totally agree. Christina rocked her curves in a custom lace gown by L'Wren Scott.
Leighton Meester
Always on-trend, Gossip Girl's Leighton stepped out on a Bottega Veneta white Grecian dress with large knotted shoulders. Her red lips and matching clutch really tied together the outfit, making her totally stand out.
Christina Applegate
Funny girl Christina donned a navy satin haute couture gown by Basil Soda. Even though her show is now off the air, with an unforgettable red-carpet look and an Emmy nomination for best actress, we're betting no one will ask Samantha Who?
Heidi Klum
The Project Runway host proved that you don't have to drape yourself in chiffon when you're knocked up. A very preggers Heidi glowed in a black Marchesa gown.
Sandra Oh
Bombshell alert! A gold sheath by Marchesa highlights the nominated actress's smokin' bod. It's kind of a shame we don't get to see this Greys Anatomy star in something other than scrubs more often.
January Jones
The classically beautiful Mad Men actress looked like a modern-day Grace Kelly in a geometric, pale pink gown by Versace.
Padma Lakshmi
Would someone please tell us how the host of Top Chef can stay so damn skinny after judging food week after week? A purple and red gown by Badgley Mischka accented her svelte silhouette.
Jenna Fischer
The star of The Office has had her share of red-carpet misses, but her black Reem Acra mermaid-style gown was one of the best dresses of the night. Jim would be so proud.
Kate Walsh
Her former Grey's Anatomy co-star, Chandra Wilson, joked, "You promised you'd wear flats," but we can't blame Kate for wanting to tower over her fellow presenter in this chic, pale blue J. Mendel gown.
Hayden Panettiere
The Heroes actress was another lady in red. In a one-shoulder J. Mendel gown, the petite starlet opted for a sophisticated, glam look.
Ginnifer Goodwin
Clearly, the Big Love actress isn't afraid of bold roles, hairstyles, or colors. She opted for a very chic fuchsia gown by YSL.
Mila Kunis
It's kind of hard to believe this gorgeous celeb actress is the voice of awkward and unpopular Meg Griffin on Family Guy, but we totally dug her ballet-dancer-inspired gown by Monique Lhuillier.
Kim Kardashian
The voluptuous reality star looked smokin' hot in this white one-sleeve Soltani gown and oversized hoop earrings. Somewhere, Reggie Bush is kicking himself.
