Beyonce

Pin-straight strands and lots of cleavage are this pop star's main style statements as she hangs with hubby Jay-Z and Yankee Alex Rodriguez. Fashionistas looking for flattering frocks should do as B does here, and opt for a dress with paneling or prints down the middle to create the optical illusion of a slimmer silhouette.

Giuliana Rancic

Before her scary diagnosis, this E! celeb-spotter mugged for cameras with husband Bill in Times Square. Thanks to her shimmering bronzer and taupe wardrobe palette, she helps import some California-sun-kissed style to chilly Manhattan.

Emmanuelle Chriqui

Long before peek-a-boo clothes were all the rage, this Entourage star gave gawkers a sneak peek at her toned abs while attending a party in Las Vegas. Even though she's only showing a hint of skin, we like that she keeps her pants casual, courtesy of some embellished blue jeans.

Jennifer Hudson and Fergie

Two ornate gowns, two ways to wear them. While Ms. Hudson prefers to show off her newly-trimmed tummy with gold waistline accents, the Black Eyed Peas front-woman flaunts her famous legs in a peacock skirt. We love how both women wear their center parts, though.

Kim Kardashian

Of course Kimmie K would wear sparkles for New Year's Eve. But it's more fun to see that even the most manicured celebs can get into the festive spirit, via goofy hats and party-favor instruments. If you anticipate getting equally excited for 2012, do as Kim does and make sure your strands are super shiny for posterity's sake.

Kesha

When you're hanging with Dick Clark, you better be ready to show your spirited stripes. Swathed in a neat rows of sequins and a tattered tee, this bad girl singer prefers neon blue lips for the Times Square Ball Drop. Ladies at home, just remember: wearing bold lipsticks on December 31st will only make it easier to tell you who kissed at midnight.

Kristin Davis

Vampy vixens need not show a lot of skin to get a lot of attention. Seen here in Las Vegas, this Sex and the City star wears a splash of bright color with this draped purple dress. Women who prefer to keep their upper arms hidden should look for similar batwing sleeve styles, too.

Olivia Munn

Sheer bustline accents and lacquered tips heat up this funny girl's red-carpet style. When wearing such a risqué top, we like that she opts for a below-the-knee skirt to keep her overall look at least a little demure.

Rihanna

How's this for a bandage dress? In strategically placed see-through sections, this Trinidadian beauty leaves little to the imagination as she warms things up in Vegas. The crowning glory of this head-to-toe look, though, is her mop of red bouncy, red ringlets, which adds a dash of sweetness to this otherwise sultry get-up.

Rashida Jones

After two weeks of holiday cookies and merry imbibing, a tent dress is an easy and chic way to stay comfy when the ringing in the new year. See here at a celeb-filled club event, this Parks and Recreation star rocks a debazzled, black number. With so much bling going on below the neck, we love that she stuck with rosier makeup and straight strands up top.

Selita Ebanks

Ladies with runway-ready bodies (like this Victoria's Secret Angel), take note: Cut-out metallic pieces make for a wickedly-hot holiday look. We love how this model shows off a hint of leg with a pyramid-hemline and adds drama with smoky eye makeup.

Taraji P. Henson

The best way to wear a teeny-tiny dress? Go for a single-color frock and slather skin with shimmering lotion. Seen here at a Vegas shin-dig, this acclaimed actress flaunts her sexy side in a ruffled mini and lots of body illuminator. Gold shoes are the perfect (and most flattering) way to top off this flirty look.

Whitney Port

This reality star might be an LA-girl, but she's channeling pure Dallas-style glamour as she hits up a party last New Year's Eve. On account of the big shoulder pads, chunky accessories, and jewel-toned sheath, we're glad that she keeps her hair and makeup simple (what a cute bun!).
