I recently had my hair dyed, and I hate the color on my face. Can I go back to my original color now?
You should wait at least two to three weeks before another permanent hair-color treatment is done. Go to a professional to correct the color. The bleaching process you've already undergone has lifted most, if not all, of your natural hue. In addition, the chemical color treatment has increased the porosity of your hair. For these reasons, most professional colorists, as well as color manufacturers, would probably recommend pretreating the hair prior to any additional applications. The new color can be one to two shades lighter than your hair's natural hue, because if your hair has been lightened for some time, going back to your original, true color will seem a lot darker than you may remember it. It's safer to go a bit lighter for the best overall effect.
