I'm hearing a lot lately about cellophanes. What is the difference between a regular hair rinse and cellophane?
Hair rinses and cellophanes have common characteristics. In the industry, when we refer to cellophanes, we are talking about a particular brand of hair-coloring product: Sebastian Colourshines by Cellophanes. Rinses and Colourshines by Cellophanes are both semi-permanent and gradually wash out within six to eight shampoos. Hair rinses and cellophanes both offer conditioning benefits. The major difference is that rinses coat the hair with color that tends to make your natural hair color deeper and richer. Cellophane, on the other hand, deposits transparent color onto the hair and delivers a high shine.
