To get these incredibly long, luxe locks, we used Jaguar Luxury Remi clip-in 22" hair extensions in color #1B. This is the hair of choice because, in addition to looking very natural, it doesn't shed or tangle and is incredibly easy to style.
The beauty of clip-in extensions is that because there is no glue required, they're less likely to cause damage to the hair and are easy to remove. It is recommended that a professional apply your extensions to avoid tangling, but you can install the hair yourself if you're careful.
For this look, our stylist began by first shampooing and conditioning the model's natural shoulder-length hair with Creme of Nature Nourishing Conditioner. Next, the hair was spritzed with CHI 44 Iron Guard Thermal Protection Spray to protect from the heat and prevent frizz, then blow-dried with a CHI Ceramic Blow-Dryer and flattened with a CHI Ceramic Flat Iron. This step is crucial because in order to blend seamlessly with the hair extensions, the real hair should be completely straight.
Once the model's hair was properly prepped, the stylist sectioned it into 1-inch partings; each extension clip was placed at the root of the hair. This process was repeated until the full head of hair was complete. A 2-inch barrel curler was used to create voluminous curls, imparting beautiful body. As the final step, Aveda Air Control Hair Spray was used to give the hair a light hold.
