Welcome to your Beauty Book profile. Our goal is to provide you with personalized beauty information whatever your age, ethnicity, personal style, or budget. The articles, tips, product recommendations, and expert advice you'll receive to your Beauty Book will be based on your answers to our beauty profile diagnostic quiz, which asks questions about your hair color, skin type, and so much more. Don't forget to complete your quiz so you can have the best personalized beauty experience.
If you're already a registered user on one of the other Hearst Network sites, simply go to RealBeauty.com, log in using your credentials, and begin to answer the Beauty Book profile diagnostic quiz. Once you hit "Submit," you'll be taken to your registration page, where you'll need to confirm your answers by plugging in your password again (this can be found at the bottom of the page).

Q: How do I get my own Beauty Book?
A: You can sign up for a Beauty Book two ways:
First, you can go to RealBeauty.com and click on the "sign up" link in the upper-right hand side of your screen. You'll be prompted to enter your first and last name and email address. Once you hit submit, you’ll be given a username and password. Don’t forget to write this down. If you forget your username or password, simply click here to have a reminder sent to your email address.
The second way to complete the registration can be found by clicking here. You’ll need to fill out all the fields and hit "create account". Then, you can begin to complete your Beauty Book profile quiz to further personalize your Beauty Book. Your Beauty Book profile isn't complete until all questions in the quiz have been answered.
And remember: RealBeauty.com is part of the Hearst Network of sites, so your username is recognized by all the sites below and entitles you to readily access all of the features we have to offer.

Q: Where will my Beauty Book appear?
A: You'll always find your Beauty Book at the upper-right hand corner of the page, and it will stay there as you explore RealBeauty.com.
Q: How can I personalize my Beauty Book by adding a profile image?
A: It's simple! Click the "About Me" tab of your Beauty Book and you'll be able to upload an image to represent you. You can also choose from one of our avatars.
Q: How many questions are in the Beauty Book profile quiz?
A: 12. You'll continue to see an incomplete status bar on your "About Me" tab until all 12 questions have been answered.
Q: I've forgotten my password. How do I reset it?
A: If you're having trouble with your account on Real Beauty, we suggest you clear your cookies, restart your browser and use our forgot password page to reset your password.
Q: How does the Beauty Book learn about me and my preferences?
A: When you initially signed up, we asked that you complete the Beauty Book profile diagnostic quiz to help figure out what kind of things you'd be interested in receiving. Those answers you provide help us determine the best articles, products, and tips to recommend to you.
Q: How will I know what's being recommended for me?
A: Once you answer at least one question in the beauty profile quiz, you’ll start to get article and product recommendations right to your Beauty Book. You'll see a list of recommended articles waiting for you in the left column of the "Articles You’ll Love" and the "Best Products" tab. You can save them by clicking on the heart. If you decide that you no longer want to have an article saved to your profile, simply click the "X" to delete it.
Q: Why am I not seeing any recommended articles in my "Articles for You" and "Best Products" tabs?
A: You must answer at least one of the Beauty Book profile questions to help us determine the best articles, products, and tips to recommend to you. If you have opted out of all 12 questions, you will not see any recommended articles. Click here to edit your profile.
Q: If I see something on RealBeauty.com, can I save it to my Beauty Book so I can come back and look at it later?
A: Absolutely! You save articles and images you like simply by clicking on the heart icon to automatically save it to your "Saved Articles" and “Best Products” tabs in your Beauty Book. You can also save any products from our Product Finder by clicking the "Add to Beauty Book" button upon rollover of any product you like in the Product Finder — that will save them straight to your Beauty Book, and you'll find them in the "Saved Products" tab.
Q: I can't see my Beauty Book. Why?
A: Your Beauty Book can be viewed only on Internet Explorer 7 or above (it will not display in Internet Explorer 6) or Firefox 3 or above. If you have an older browser, you can click here to upgrade your Internet Explorer or Firefox browser.
